Unique 3D mapping company required new optimised website.
Cityscape Maps is a company I have a long standing relationship with and I was asked to rebuild their website (around a current design) to be more search engine friendly and also XHTML compliant (as the current site was built in HTML4).
I updated the site in several ways after rewriting it to be compliant, and added appropriate meta tags to aid SEO, header tags for keywords, changed the use of B tags to STRONG for semantic value, and also implemented URL rewrites to ensure that keywords were in the address.
Overall, the optimisation went well and the customer is now receiving 3x more traffic than before.
