Hello, I'm a young and ambitious software + web developer born and raised in Kingston upon Hull. For several obvious reasons I wanted to move away as soon as possible and in 2010 I finally moved to Manchester with my girlfriend, to start a new position at Wilson Cooke as a Web Developer.
For the past few years I've worked full time as either a web or software developer (or both!), be it as an employee of another company, contracting for another company, or freelance bits of work on the side. As a consquence of my experience and knowledge in my work, I've been recognised as an Expert on several websites, and actively participate in online communities such as Stack Overflow and Dream.In.Code.
Currently, I'm living in Salford Quays with my wonderful girlfriend Kristina, and drive a Saab 9-3 Auto. I absolutely love driving, gaming, hanging out with friends and most importantly spending time with the Mrs. I'm not the most outgoing of people, but that doesn't mean to say I don't enjoy a good time! Whether it's staying in for a night of drinking and gaming, or going out for a meal/movie, I'm still pretty much up for anything.
On a more professional level, I'm looking to once again move into the management side of things, leading a development team and associated projects. I feel that this would be a great step forward for me as I've already covered a very wide range of topics when it comes to straight-up development. With my previous experience of managing my own business and projects that come with it, I would definitely be the perfect candidate for a team leader or project management role.
